Natalia Gutman, Yuri Bashmet and Igor Butman at Chamber Music Festival

Legendary cellist Natalia Gutman, world-renowned violist Yuri Bashmet, composer/pianist Igor Raykhelson with the Moscow Soloists orchestra , violinist Sviatoslav Moroz, soprano Olga Dyachkovskaya and jazz saxophone virtuoso Igor Butman will perform at Mountain Chamber Music Festival at Mohonk Mountain House in New York's Hudson Valley June 20-24.

"Yuri Bashmet's artistry inspires many composers to write for him, myself included, " said Artistic Director Raykhelson whose "Adagio for Viola and String Orchestra" premiered to critical acclaim at Carnegie Hall in 2003.

"Natalia Gutman thrills audiences as soloist with the world's finest orchestras, " said Raykhelson. "We're so fortunate to have her in residence."

Saturday night's gala concert features Igor Butman in Raykhelson's stunning "Jazz Suite" which had its US premiere at Jazz at Lincoln Center with Bashmet and the Moscow Soloists in February. Guests mingle with artists at a reception following the concert.

Gutman's chamber music partners include Martha Argerich and Sviatoslav Richter. She works with distinguished conductors including Riccardo Muti, Claudio Abbado, Mstislav Rostropovich and Kurt Masur.

Bashmet has appeared with Berlin and London Philharmonics, Boston and Chicago Symphonies, Gidon Kremer and the Borodin Quartet. The Vienna Philharmonic featured him at Mozart's 250th Birthday Celebration in January.

Butman performed and/or recorded with Wynton Marsalis, Dave Brubeck, Chick Corea, Jack DeJohnette, Randy Brecker, Pat Metheny, Grover Washington Jr. and Lionel Hampton.
