| Eighth Annual Indy Jazz Fest The American Pianists Association will announce the schedule and complete artist line-up for the 2006 Indy Jazz Fest on March 30, at the Jazz Kitchen. The 2006 Indy Jazz Fest presented by Kroger will be held June 16-18 in Military Park, downtown Indianapolis. The three-day family-oriented festival brings some of the best national and local jazz groups to Indianapolis. Everything from jazz, blues, roots, rhythm & blues and gospel music will be performed on multiple stages throughout the park. In addition, festival attendees will experience a wide range of cultural amenities, including educational activities and food from some of the best local establishments. With the help of Deputy Mayor Steve Campbell, the American Pianists Association will announce the major national recording artists and local musicians who will be performing at this year's Indy Jazz Fest presented by Kroger, one of the largest cultural events in Indianapolis.
