| Emmett North Jr. May Perform at Stockholm's Jazz Festival  Emmett North Jr, former guitarist for Barry White & Isaac Hayes, may be performing at the 23rd edition of the Stockholm Jazz Festival in July 18-22 performing his recordings and music by others. Born in Middletown, Ohio, Emmett started his creative direction, writing poems in the 5th grade. A member of an extended musical family, he was introduced to the guitar at the age of 9. By the age of 13 he had seriously decided that the guitar was what he wanted to do. A year later he was working in clubs behind the noted Dayton area blues artist.
