| Infinite Out in Boston The jazz/jungle quartet Infinite Out (Colin Sapp - guitar, Todd Marston - piano/Fender Rhodes, Dmitry Ishenko - bass, Lyndon Rochelle - drums) will play at Rutman's Violins, Boston, MA Saturday, March 18, 2006 Multi-faceted guitarist Colin Sapp has carved a distinct new sound by fusing elements of jazz, funk, rock, and electronic music into a unique, improvisational approach. Originally from Flint, Michigan, Colin came to Boston seven years ago to study at Berklee College of Music. There he studied with some of today's most innovative modern guitarists, most notably Wayne Krantz, Dave Fiuczynski, Mick Goodrick, Jon Damian and Tim Miller. He began carving a distinct compositional style, yielding a volume of original material that has translated into powerful, high energy, and emotive performances. write your comments about the article :: © 2006 Jazz News :: home page |
