| AOL Music DJ Sessions: Mixed by Thievery Corporation Following the success of AOL Music DJ Sessions: Mixed by John Digweed, AOL Music and INgrooves have teamed up again to announce the release of a new album featuring an exclusive mix from Thievery Corporation (ESL Music). Fans can currently check out AOL Music’s full Listening Party to hear the album, AOL Music DJ Sessions: Mixed by Thievery Corporation, in its entirety, before they buy it. The album is currently available for sale exclusively via Apple’s iTunes Music Store, for a limited time. Then in late March, fans will be able to visit additional online outlets including AOL Music Now to purchase the digital album. Recorded in January of 2006, AOL Music DJ Sessions: Mixed by Thievery Corporation is comprised entirely of Thievery’s hand-picked selections. The release marks the second time AOL Music and INgrooves have partnered to produce, market and distribute a full-length digital album. The companies first joined forced to deliver AOL Music DJ Sessions: Mixed by John Digweed in November 2005. AOL Music regularly features exclusive DJ mixes by world-famous DJs such as Diplo, LCD Soundsystem, John Digweed, Sander Kleinenberg and Roni Size on its Dance/Electronica page and on the DJ Sets station on AOL Radio. Thievery Corporation is comprised of the duo Rob Garza and Eric Hilton. Rob and Eric met in 1995 at the now-infamous Eighteenth Street Lounge where they bonded over strong drinks, dub, bossa nova and jazz records, then decided to see what would come of mixing all these in a recording studio. Since that fortuitous meeting, Rob and Eric have released 4 critically acclaimed full length albums, 3 DJ Mix albums and more than a dozen EPs and singles. Their forthcoming release of remixes entitled “Versions” is set for release in May on ESL Music (www.eslmusic.com). Thievery Corporation recently received a Grammy Award nomination in the “Best Packaging Design” category and is widely regarded as one of the top electronic music acts in the world.
