| Lauren Echo at the Iridium Lauren Echo is a passionate and soulful singer, songwriter with a smoky voice that sounds like no other and is sure to invite you in to listen. She will play at the famous Iridium, NYC Saturday, March, 11, 2006. In her songs there is a recurring theme of freedom and triumph as she exposes her vulnerability with spirit, dignity and emotion. Whether she is playing piano or guitar, her intense sound will inspire and move you. Lauren is proud to introduce you to her new album "Still", produced by Benjy King, and released on Valentine Records. The CD features "Club of Fools" a prizewinner in the 2003 John Lennon Songwriting Contest. A native New Yorker, Lauren grew up with music "in her blood". Both parents passed their talent on to her; mom is a classical pianist and her late father was a flute player and photographer. Lauren has been a professional singer since she was a child. Her distinct voice and wide range of vocal talents have been featured on numerous albums and soundtracks as well as many national television voice-overs. Selected "Best Female Musician Signed or Unsigned", Lauren connects with her audience and you feel her singing directly from her heart into yours. With "Still" in hand, Lauren continues to play New York clubs and is once again taking her music on the road. Lauren is currently touring up and down the East Coast playing clubs, cafés and festivals.
