At 68-years-old, Hill continues to push the envelope with eight creative new compositions. Playboy Magazine notes, "Like Hines, Tatum, and Monk before him, Andrew Hill pushes jazz to new ground, " and has named Hill as their second 2006 Jazz Artist Of The Year in the March issue.
