| The Write 4 Hope Blues Festival The largest blues festival between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara is coming to Simi Valley this spring. On Saturday, April 29th 2006, the inaugural, Write 4 Hope Blues Festival, will take place at Oak Park in Simi Valley. Write 4 Hope is a non-profit charitable organization providing support for local homeless and battered women's shelters. All proceeds will benefit the charity. The Celebrity guest host will be well-known Hollywood character actor, Mickey Jones, who will be on hand along with DJ's Leo Shumaker and Gary "The Wagman" Wagner from N2BN.org, which will be providing a live audio web cast of the event as well. World class blues acts headlining the event are B.B. Chung King and the Buddaheads; Michael John and the Bottom Line; The Delgado Brothers; Nelson Adelard; Forced Call; The Jeff Jensen Band and the J.D.
