| Lawrence Lebo at MCCABE's Guitar Shop In Santa Monica MCCABE’S presents three veterans of the L.A. music scene in an eclectic evening of American roots music. Jazz, blues, swing vocalist Lawrence Lebo will open the show, followed by the infamous blues guitarist Doug Macleod. Finishing the evening with rockabilly, country artist James Intveld. Ms. Lebo will be performing, selections from her new release Don’t Call Her Larry, Volume 2, as well as favorites from Volume 1. She will be accompanied by her acoustic trio consisting of TONY Mandracchia on guitar, Denny Croy on upright bass, and David Strother on violin. World famous MCCABE’S Guitar Shop is located at 3101 Pico Blvd, Santa Monica, CA. The March 10, 2006 show begins at 8:00pm. Lawrence Lebo creates a hybrid of Jazz, Blues music with vocals extraordinaire! Her debut EP "Don't Call Her Larry, Volume 1" garnered rave international reviews, college airplay, live performances on such stations as KCRW and KPCC, and live performances sharing the bill with such artists As Bobby Bradford. The EP's success got the attention of National Public Radio who featured Ms. Lebo on the Weekend Edition show, hosted by Liane Hansen.
