| Broxbourne Civic Hall: new ‘What’s On’ guide The new ‘What’s On’ guide for January to May is now available from all Council One Stop Shops and leisure facilities. The free 40-page guide provides details of all the shows and events taking place through to May 2006 at the Broxbourne Civic Hall and the Council’s community halls. The brochure includes a range of events and entertainment aimed at all interests and ages. Highlights found in the guide include an evening with England World Cup winning goal scorers Sir Geoff Hurst and Martin Peters, ‘Melvyn Bragg in conversation’, and comedy with ‘Jongleurs’. There will be big band blues with ‘The Syd Lawrence Orchestra’, and tributes with the ‘Eva Cassidy Songbook’, ‘Sounds of Sinatra’, ‘Voulez Vous’ and ‘The B’Eagles’. There will also be musical entertainment with ‘Absolute Swing, Cantabile - a capella evening of songs from the stage to screen’, and a taste of the Moulin Rouge with the ‘Paris Can Can’.
