RadioBangkok.net “One Of Kind”

“You can’t find a similar format anywhere in this Land of Smiles to what we have at RadioBangkok.net, ” said Bill Hammerton, the station’s Executive Producer. “And that’s exactly why people are listening in greater and greater numbers.”

Indeed, with the station’s wide blend of popular music from all eras, mixed with news and talk about Thailand in English, listeners will be hard pressed to find anything like it. RadioBangkok.net features such varying programs as Kurt David’s “Taking Ya Back” and the station’s flagship talk show “Thailand Today” with Felix Lynn. It’s also recently added a world issues-oriented talk show with security expert Vic Plessner.

“While music is the cornerstone of our programming, we know ex-pats in Thailand and millions of travelers around the world want to know what’s happening here, ” said Felix Lynn, Program Director. “So not only do we provide local Thailand news updates every hour of every day, but we offer fun, adventurous talk shows that help people stay in touch with the country they love, Thailand.” Hammerton is excited to see the growth in the station in just the last year. “We have more than a hundred and fifty thousand listeners a month. Early last year it was a fraction of that.”

The program schedule is also set to expand early this year. “Siam Jazz, ” with Jaz Jackson, will feature the top names in Jazz every month. Also, “Radio Art, with Art Durivage, is set to come on board in January with a weekly countdown of world wide favorites.
