Whitney Wolanin to Release Duet 'It Takes Two'

On Valentine's Day Whitney Wolanin, the soulful teen singer with the multi octave voice, will release the duet "It Takes Two" to radio. This Feb. 14th release by Whitney will also feature Jimi Jamison. Jamison is the legendary Memphis Rock and Blues lead singer of Survivor which has had a number of hits including Eye of the Tiger and Burning Heart (from the Rocky Movies), plus High on You, The Search is Over and others. Jimi Jamison has been been rated by Kasey Kaseem and other singing experts as one of the greatest male vocalists of all time.

Whitney Wolanin is following up on her 2 single releases "Good" and "Christmas (the Warmest Time of the Year)" which in 2005 charted at Radio based on monitored airplay. "Good" reached number 7 and has been on the FMQB chart for 30 plus weeks. "Christmas" charted also in the top 100 at 83 during the holiday season.

"It Takes Two" is a song cut taken from the Whitney Wolanin Funkology XIII album which contains 13 BIG songs. Funkology stands for the Study of Funk and is a term coined by Whitney to describe her current style of performance which pays homage to some of the greatest songs of all time. Whitney Wolanin is known for her powerful soulful multi octave vocals and energetic live performances. The Whitney Wolanin Funkology Band has some of the best musicians in the world and is known for their Funky style of playing.
