| The Gospel Fest in Detroit It's the biggest gospel event of the year on the biggest sports weekend of the year in Detroit. Music fans can kick off the Big Game weekend with the Motor City Gospel Fest featuring live performances by some of the biggest names in gospel music. It all happens on February 3rd, 2006 at Greater Grace Temple in Detroit. Gospel music lovers are expected to pack-out Greater Grace's 4, 000 seat cathedral to hear some of America's favorite gospel artists including Detroit's own Karen Clark-Sheard, Marvin Sapp, Rance Allen, and Ricky Dillard & New Generation. The program also includes rising gospel stars Kiki Sheard and gospel jazz guitarist Tim Bowman. "The Motor City Gospel Fest is a great opportunity to showcase some of the top gospel artists -- both locally and nationally, " says Greater Grace's Pastor, Bishop Charles H. Ellis III.
