| Swing For Music On January 7, 2006 Northampton Community Music Center will hold a benefit swing dance at Sacred Heart Church in downtown Northampton. NCMC’s own Abigail Reed will lead the event, which will start with a beginner lesson, followed by the dance. Live music will be provided by jazz ensembles of the Music Center, directed by Joe Belmont. Abigail Reed has been the Registrar/Development Assistant at NCMC for one and a half years. In addition, has been dancing and teaching swing for the past seven years. With a foundation in ballet and jazz, she has been very successful on the competition floor, placing nationally at a variety of events.
