| Sydney Band - Viva the band at Rabbitohs Viva the band has been engaged to perform at South Sydney Leagues Club known as the “Rabbitoh’s” Club. The club has been associated with an unprecedented 20 first grade premierships, has produced 62 Australian internationals, features the highest football club membership figures in Rugby League and looks forward to hosting our biggest crowds yet with the move to Telstra Stadium in 2006. The Rabbitoh’s is currently restructuring its entertainment schedules with a view to providing currently popular bands from the Sydney region. Primarily, members and guests that frequent the club are supporters of the clubs activities at football games. The new policy of the club is to provide their members and guests quality and interesting entertainment and to attract more patrons from outlying areas. One of the first bands considered to boost the clubs new entertainment profile is Viva the band. Viva the band is one of Sydney’s most popular bands in the cabaret, latin and jazz genre, with performances at Sydney's local music festivals and events including: Sydney Olympic Park, Darling Harbour, Kings Cross Festival, Manly International Jazz festival, Jazz in the City at QVB, multicultural events, Local Council's functions and a host of corporate events. The band are also regulars at Thredo, Gold coast, Newcastle and Kiama music festivals. Viva is also well known for their International "continental style" performances with recent engagements in Taiwan in 2004 at Tainan and the Kenting International Song Festival in 2005. Viva the band perform from a diverse repertoire of Jazz, Swing, Latin, Salsa, French, Spanish, Gypsy Jazz and classic show tunes.
