| Julio Iglesias Puga dies Doctor Julio Iglesias Puga, father of the singer Julio Iglesias, and famous in Spain himself as a top gynaecologist has died from a lung infection. He was 90. Born in Orense in 1915, he was one of the youngest gynaecologists ever to work for the Spanish Health Service and helped create the Maternity Service in Madrid. He was also well known for his amorous adventures – only last week Hola! Magazine revealed that he was expecting a second child, from his second wife, United States woman Ronna Keith whom he met at the start of the 90’s.
