| Lou Rawls in Hospital suffers cancer by Ron Sagye La Rue Blues, Jazz and Pop singer, Lou Rawls is in Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.Suffering from throat and brain cancer, though he stopped his habitual smoking 35 years ago. His brain cancer was diagnosed in May, lung cancer was discovered 1 year ago. The Chicago born Rawls, has been living in the American state of Arizona (city of Scottsdale) since 2003. Rawls who turned 70 on December 1, has said: "Don't count me out brother". His wife Nina suggests his condition is dismal.
