Jew-Age Hanukkah CD Getting Radio Airplay

The Hanukkah Lounge has become one of the most successful Holiday CD's of the 2005 season. The album, Craig Taubman's latest release in the very popular Celebrate Series, includes tracks from such lauded artists as Grammy Award Winner Laurence Juber, King of Klezmer Frank London and Mr. Taubman himself. Consumers, particularly the young adult market, seem to have responded with great enthusiasm to the concept of remixing Hanukkah classics with an instrumental, ‘Jew-Age’ groove. This week, the album has begun to receive airplay from smooth jazz stations across the country, including markets in San Diego, Houston, Las Vegas, and Atlanta, as it simultaneously begins to chart on Billboard.

The Hanukkah Lounge is currently on the shelves at Jewish gift shops and grocery chains nationwide, including Ralph's, Barnes and Noble, A&P, and Safeway. It's also climbing daily on amazon.com, bestbuy.com, and cdbaby.com. The label has made a free download available at its website, www.craignco.com, where visitors can also ‘chill’ in their virtual interactive Lounge.

Producer of the album Craig Taubman says of his new hit, 'Jewish music today has a great appeal to all ages, and this compilation is some of the more innovative music that I've made with some incredibly talented players.'
