| 12th Thredbo Blues Festival 2006 Over 100 performers from around Australia and 2000 Blues fans will converge on Thredbo Village in Australia's snowy mountains for the three days this January 13-15th for what many describe as their favourite Australian music festival. The festival is highly regarded by blues performers around Australia and the program again brings together a balanced range of diverse blues styles from traditional, modern and contemporary, to funk and fusion. The festival is renowned as a boutique style event due to its very personal venues including restaurant gigs complimented by great food and wine. The 2006 festival will see an extraordinary line-up of blues artists with the soul focus of maximum entertainment for their audiences.
