| 2005 American Music Awards Lights, cameras, and music industry icon were all over the place at the 2005 American Music Awards held at the celebrated Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, CA. The star-studded awards program, hosted by popular comic Cedric the Entertainer, aired on ABC television affiliates Tuesday, November 22nd. In the celebrity gift room, Youngblood Timepieces, Inc. was the luminary. The company's reputation and talk of its exquisitely designed watches preceded Oakland, CA founders, Paul Youngblood and Patrick Martin, into the room where some privileged celebrities were presented with gift bags that included Youngblood Timepieces' stylish and superbly unique wristwatches. Ashanti, BabyFace, Cedric the Entertainer, Ginuwine, Hillary Duff, Serena Williams, Cal Ripken, Jr., Chingy, Los Lonely Boys, Sean Paul, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith were among the celebrities presented with Youngblood Timepieces at AMA Awards. Many had heard of or seen the watches previously because they were also included in celebrity gift bags at the 2005 World Music Awards (WMA) held in September. Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys sported his Youngblood Timepiece throughout the evening. Though Paula Abdul had previously received a Young Timepiece at the WMA, she obtained two more at the AMA. When presented with his watch, American Idol's Randy Jackson inquired about the black and red watch models because he had previously heard about them from "sources." On the local scene: Youngblood Timepieces, Inc. has teamed with popular San Francisco Bay Area radio station 102.9 FM KBLX, the leader in adult contemporary music, to launch a monthly KBLX signature wine tasting event beginning December 15, 2005 at Linen Life Gallery in Emeryville. Attendees will enjoy an evening of jazz from "The Quiet Storm, " while sampling great wines from Bay Area vintners. Youngblood Timepieces, Inc. and Portfolio Funding Group, Martin's real estate financing company, will be the featured sponsors of this event, which is to run throughout 2006. Youngblood Timepieces will formally launch its full line of casual and dress watches for men and women early 2006. Mark your calendar for the company's official launch party March 4, 2006 in San Francisco. You're invited to party with the stars at this gala event sponsored by KBLX.
