MVP entertainment and marketing, Invision Music and House of Blues, Mandalay Bay debuts the band Dejesus Hillbilly Porno, blending southern rock with an alternative and psychedelic twist. Dejesus will headline at the House of Blues December 8th, 2005.

The much anticipated Dejesus EP (5-song) limited edition release is setfor a soft CD release on December 5th, 2005 and for retail sale early on December 8th, 2005.

The Band Members: Rick DeJesus-vocalist and sex symbol, Chris Swabb- guitarist and vocals, Matt Gerbracht-Drums, Jason Schulze-Bass, Randy Brown- Guitar, piano and vocals.

In the beginning, there was a clash of styles. Rick had a very modern ear and was looking for a contemporary pop/rock/rap sound. Chris, Matt and Jason, all influenced by the music of the 90's were interested in creating a heavy and cutting edge sound that fans of the Def Tones, Jimmy Hendrix and Tool would recognize. Randy, a musical whore who could care less about what style he would be playing, thought that a Southern rock/Eric Clapton influenced approach would serve some of the initial songs the band was working on. Without intentionally creating a new form of music, the band had the ingredients for what they are now calling Hillbilly Porno.

You laugh, but Hillbilly Porno is not to be taken lightly. Hillbilly Porno forces blue grass licks and twang to coexist with Southern rock's meaty, Hendrix inspired crunch and a hard driving grunge-based rhythm section. Adding an expressive, unique and intense vocal takes the listener unflinchingly into the conflagration of styles. It is the devil's disco-tech only without all of the cool leisure suits. The themes in the music take on issues like the role of a family member to a drug addict; the fear of losing your sanity; betrayal by a loved one; and the way love and hate are similar.
