Whitney Wolanin: 'Christmas' (the Warmest Time of the Year)

Whitney Wolanin (pronunciation key: WO-lan-in) TopNotch Records recording artist and the soulful Teen, Honors student, and six foot tall athlete with the multi-octave voice saw her new original holiday song "Christmas" (the Warmest Time of the Year) reach the most added status three weeks in a row at Radio stations around the US based on monitored reported station airplay. "Christmas" is now being played on more than 50 stations around the US. "Christmas" is an up-tempo holiday song with a big Bass beat to it and a catchy memorable hook & melody. "Christmas" is also a song which creates a host of visualization scenarios to the listeners of the song which takes many of them to places of fond memories.

Whitney's intention and that of the co-writers was to create a song which many could relate to during the holidays in that it is the coldest time of the year yet simply contrasted with the theme of the family coming together during the traditional holiday IE: the Warmest Time of the Year, the Hook of the song.. "Christmas" (the Warmest Time of the Year) is an original song co-written and produced by Whitney Wolanin, Bob "Funk Brother" Babbitt, and Vincent Wolanin.

Whitney Wolanin also has a second song "Good" at radio still on the Top 40 Charts for the past 25 weeks which reached as high as #7 in the US on the AC40 Top 40 chart based on airplay. "Good" is co-written & produced by Wolanin-Babbitt-Wolanin.

Whitney Wolanin will be performing with the Hangar of Blues All-Star Band on December 3, 2005 in Fort Myers, Florida for the benefit of Cancer Research & the College Scholarship Endowment Fund for needy students. Also singing his HITS that night with Whitney will be Jimi Jamison Legendary lead singer of Survivor (Eye of the Tiger, Burning Heart from the Rocky Movies, High on You. etc.). Whitney Wolanin and Jimi Jamison have a duet "It Takes Two" scheduled for release to radio in 2006 which is also on the Whitney Wolanin album Funkology XIII now available on line at various internet retailers and at Tower Records Nationwide.
