| Frank Hewitt's CD up for Grammy Awards Frank Hewitt, has his Jazz CD entitled “All That Jazz and Blues” up for the 48th annual Grammy awards. The album released on JC Records features the late, great Frank Hewitt on piano, and is released in Hewitt's memory. The album also features Frank's Jazz protg and friend James Cannings on guitar. James also produced this great album. Voting for the Grammy Awards is cast by voting members only of The National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences, Inc., and is guided by high standards of artistic and technical expertise only, and is to be judged by quality alone, uninfluenced by personal friendships, company loyalties, regional preferences, mass sales, or popularity. NARAS has conducted this event for the past 48 years.
