| Spider Saloff Sings Gershwin The Tinley Park Arts Council (TPAC) announces its first professional performance event for the area featuring the renowned jazz vocalist, Spider Saloff. Spider is heard worldwide as the co-star and co-creator of the internationally syndicated weekly Public Radio series Word and Music on NPR. She has received critical acclaim nationally and internationally. As on of the rare officially sanctioned acts of the Gershwin Centennial her concert, Spider Saloff Sings Gershwin, has been touring the U.S. since 1996 and headlined at the St. Petersburg Gershwin Festival in Russia.
