| The Aura Electric, Opus 3 Project One, in collaboration with Issue Project Room, presents The Aura Electric, Opus Three, featuring the Mat Maneri / Randy Petersen Duo—two of the most innovative and distinctive artists on the downtown improvised scene—and the Project One Ensemble performing works for electric string quartet (George Crumb’s Black Angels and a world premiere by Michael Spassov). Opus Three will take place on Saturday, November 19, 2005 at Issue Project Room in Brooklyn. The Aura Electric, Opus Three explores the sound worlds of amplified strings by juxtaposing different approaches to composed and improvised ‘electric chamber music’.
