| Soulive - From Geary to Madison Square Gardens Fresh from the release of their newest album 'Break Out' -- a slamming 15 track collection that "brings on the funk so strong it's probably illegal in a dozen states" according to People Magazine - Soulive will join the Dave Matthews Band on a series of arena dates this fall, culminating in a dramatic homecoming for the band on the stage of Madison Square Garden on December 9th. The dates will follow a major headlining tour for the band which kicks off Thursday at the Fillmore in San Francisco, where they'll be joined by special guests including the Soulive horn section and vocalist Reggie Watts. Their first release for Concord, Soulive's newest recalls boundary-blurring forbearers like the Funk Brothers, MG's and the Muscle Shoals rhythm section.
