| Fresh Forward Jazz Festival 10/07/05 The Fresh Forward Jazz Festival is a showcase of original music composed and performed by Boston's up and coming jazz musicians. The one night festival features an eclectic line up of young jazz composers whose music illustrates some of the directions in which jazz is moving. The composers are Xenia Rubinos, Peter Slavov, Laura Brunner, and Donald Lee, who will each perform with their own ensemble. The event encourages the innovations of today's jazz musicians by providing an unbiased place in which to share their ideas. The composers hope the festival helps foster a community of jazz musicians and composers who are working together to move jazz forward.
