145th Street Deluxe Blues Band Nominated For 'Best Blues Album' 2005

145th Street’s self-produced debut CD, 145th Street - Deluxe Blues Band, has been nominated for “Best Blues Album” 2005 by the San Diego Music Awards. The CD has been recognized as a true Blues gem. The San Diego North County Times says: “This electric blues-rock quintet is so steeped in the blues they practically drip the music. The music of 145th Street Deluxe Blues Band is solid, joyful Blues.” Kenora Daily Miner and News says: “145th Street’s new CD is music designed to get any juke joint jumping and your mojo working overdrive.” Joe Walsh, legendary guitar player for The James Gang and The Eagles, after hearing the CD, said “I enjoyed your album. Pretty damn good. When can I see your band play?” The 2005 San Diego Music Awards will take place at Humphrey’s by the Bay in San Diego on Monday, September 12.
