Popular Sydney Band at Australian Springtime Flora Festival

Viva the band will be appearing at Australian Springtime Flora Festival 2005. This award-winning event at Kariong is one of the largest and most popular flora festivals in Australia, located at the Mt. Penang Parklands site, just south of Gosford NSW and approximately one hour s drive north of Sydney. Interspersed among the flora displays and landscaped garden settings are displays by associated commercial suppliers who help to provide the visitor with a total picture of outdoor and garden living. In total, there are over 300 displays to view The Festival has been held annually for 18 years with 60, 000 visitors expected to attend in 2005.jazz

Visitors wishing to rest can sit and enjoy the stage entertainment or watch minstrels and other entertainers mixing with the crowd to create a unique atmosphere of fun and relaxation. At the nearby children's activity area, children are entertained and educated, providing a break for parents.
Special presenters at the festival include Don Burke (Burkes Backyard) Fri – Sat, Nigel Ruck (Backyard Blitz)T hurs – Sat, Kuno Kobayashi ( Master of Bonsai) Fri – Sat.

Viva the band will be performing a mix of: Jazz, Swing, Salsa, Latin, French, Spanish, Gypsy Jazz and stunning show tunes at strategic locations through the parklands site between 10.30am and 2.30pm Sunday 11th September. Viva the band will be appearing for its 3rd consecutive year at the Australian Springtime Flora Festival
