| Bassist/composer Avishai Cohen On Tour In Support of “At Home”! Bassist/composer Avishai Cohen will be leading his trio, featuring two rising stars on the international music scene, Sam Barsh (piano, Fender Rhodes, Melodica) and Mark Guiliana (drums, percussion), on the second wave of his nationwide U.S. tour in celebration of his striking new recording, At Home, in stores now! Special guests will join the trio, which has been touring the world to rave reviews for the last two years. At Home, Avishai Cohen’s sixth recording as a leader, features eleven profoundly beautiful compositions performed by his trio with special guests Yosvany Terry (saxophones, chekere), Anne Drummond (flute), Diego Urcola (flugelhorn), Jeff Ballard (drums, percussion) and Tomer Tzur (hand drum). The recording, which has been garnering high praise abroad, features eleven new compositions from Cohen and is the follow up recording to Razdaz Recordz’s first release, Cohen’s critically acclaimed Lyla.
