| Riverwalk Blues & Music Festival The 2005 Riverwalk Blues & Music festival in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida is in November. Besides being back to its original location - on both sides of the new river, in beautiful downtown ft. Lauderdale - it is also back to its original dates - the first weekend in November. This years festival is a four day event and it kicks of on Thursday, 11/04 and runs thru Sunday, 11/06. Now is an excellent time to start making arrangements to attend the Riverwalk Blues & Music in Fort Lauderdale. Some changes have been made since last year’s event. The festival is now run by Don Cohen, of the musicians exchange fame, and john baker, of the Downtown Saloon. Last year, when the city of ft. Lauderdale abandoned the festival, Don Cohen, the festivals original promoter, and john baker joined forces to put on one of the most awesome festivals to date. From the way it looks, this year should even be better. This lineup would rival a W. C.
