Whitney Wolanin on the Joey Reynolds Show

Whitney Wolanin National Teen Recording Artist with the multi-octave soulful voice will appear on the Legendary Joey Reynolds show on Thursday August 4 on the WOR Radio Network of 200 stations. Good the "You can do it" anthem from the Whitney Wolanin Funkology XIII album reaches number 3 most added status at radio. Whitney Wolanin (pronunciation key: WO Lan in) and her original song "Good" have been the most added song to station playlists at #3 and #4 at US stations on the FMQB radio station monitoring panel the past two weeks. Whitney Wolanin will be in New York August 2nd and 3rd. "Good" is the first cut on her Funkology XIII (the study of Funk) album which contains 13 hit songs recorded by Whitney Wolanin when she was just 13 years old. Funkology XIII was tracked with Whitney's LIVE All-Star Band led by Funk Brothers Bass Legend Bob Babbitt.

Babbitt is known for his one of a kind bass licks on all songs on Funkology XIII and on many of the most legendary HIT songs in history. "Good" also contains some ususual musical licks including the playing of the intro, bridge, and fade on the record with a basketball by Whitney Wolanin also a musician (Pianist and Drummer) synergistically with Bass licks by the legend Bob Babbitt. Other cuts on Funkolgy XIII include a Whitney Wolanin duet of "It Takes Two", with Survivor vocal legend Jimi Jamison known for his soaring vocals on hit songs like Burning Heart from Rocky IV and High on you. Survivor also had the huge hit Eye of the Tiger in the Rocky movie series. Jimi Jamison has been the featured performer in the Starbucks Eye of the Tiger elevator TV commercial which was recently nominated for an Emmy Award.
