| Late Clarinetist Artie Shaw's Estate Sued by Ex-Wife Evelyn Keyes an actress was married to Artie Shaw for 28 years; whose marriage ended in 1985, claims Shaw owed her $150,000. According to Keyes she loaned the money to Shaw, when he was in financial trouble. And that Shaw needed the capital to sue record companies and movie studios. Keyes is also seeking at least $1 million from the Artie Shaw Living Trust and Artie Shaw Foundation for breach-of-contract. Keyes and Shaw signed contract expresses, in their wills "each others estates be left to the other" the lawsuit states.
