Bebo de Cuba All Star Latin Jazz Big Band to tour Spain in November

Outstanding Latin Jazz Saxophonist Ivan Renta, a featured saxophonist with the Jazz at the Lincoln Center's Afro-Latin Jazz Orchestra and Eddie Palmieri's Latin Jazz Ensemble, will be joining Cuban Latin Jazz Master Bebo Valdés again for a tour of Spain from November 14th - 30th, 2004. The legendary pianist, arranger, composer and musical director will be premiering his ambitious composition “Suite Cubana” with the Bebo de Cuba All Star Latin Jazz Big Band, an ensemble of twenty-one of the worlds finest Latin-Jazz musicians. Bebo will be directing this amazing big band in what is sure to be a historical moment in Latin-Jazz history.

Ivan Renta, who has worked with Mr. Valdés in the past, is excited to be a part of this historic endeavor. “Its not everyday that you get to be a part of Latin Jazz history or to perform with as talented a group as Bebo has assembled for this tour”, Ivan stated from his home in New York City.
