The 118 Awards, run by independent industry monitor, 118tracker.com, celebrate the achievements made by organizations and more importantly the people involved in delivering information and directory services around the world.

The fifth win means that 118 24 7now has a 100% success rate for every year the category has been included in the awards, demonstrating a significant track record and reflecting Yell's focus on delivering a high quality service from UK call centres for callers wanting easy access to business information.

118 24 7, operates from call centres in Bristol and Newport, with fully trained advisors supplying callers with business names and numbers, opening hours, cinema information and direct call connections. Additional business information including promotions, maps and directions are also available through the SMS service.

As well as winning 'Best UK Service' in 2009, 118 24 7also won 'Customer Service Agent of the Year' and 'Best Marketing Campaign' for its 'Directory Heaven' advertising campaign based on the cult internet cartoon character, 'Magical Trevor'.
