cVidya's Fraud Management Catalyst for Smart-Phones Demonstrated at TM Forum's Management World Americas 2010

cVidya Networks led a fraud management TM Forum Catalyst Collaborative project for Smart-Phones at TM Forum's Management World Americas conference in Orlando last week. The Catalyst project was championed by Rogers Communications with participation from IBM.

This TM Forum Catalyst Project – which brings together vendors and service providers to rapidly solve common industry problems – demonstrated new Fraud Management solutions that are specifically designed to address service providers' needs for better monitoring and control over smart-phones such as iPhone, BlackBerry, Android, etc. which are attractive to fraudsters who seek ways to purchase the phone but then avoid the associated long-term service agreement.

Fraud Management is becoming an area of focus for the TM Forum as shown by the recent launch of a new Fraud Management team in which cVidya participates. cVidya's presence in Management World Americas 2010 included the catalyst demonstration, a panel led by Dr. Gadi Solotorevsky, cVidya CTO and TM Forum's Revenue Assurance team leader, as well as a cVidya client presentation by AT&T Mobility titled 'Service Delivery - New Products' which also refers to the cVidya Revenue Assurance solutions that are being used by AT&T.
