| Comodo Offers Free HackerGuardian Subscription Comodo is now offering a free annual subscription to HackerGuardian with every SSL certificate purchase, allowing firms to easily meet PCI vulnerability scanning requirements. Businesses that receive transmit, or store credit card data must perform a network vulnerability scan every quarter. Scanning identifies vulnerabilities that could be exploited by hackers to steal confidential customer information. Comodo CA Ltd. is a PCI Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV). HackerGuardian's Web-based portal features a variety of easy to use wizards that simplify the scanning and report generation processes. This allows businesses to meet PCI requirements in less time - leaving them more time for their core businesses. Merchants must be PCI compliant in order to accept credit cards. The data security standards set by the Payment Card Industry (PCI) are mandatory requirements for anyone who accepts, processes or stores credit card data.
