| Paltalk Partners with The Weather Channel Paltalk has announced its affiliation with The Weather Channel to provide localized weather forecasts for all Paltalk users upon signing into their Paltalk accounts. The Weather Channel features current conditions and forecasts for more than 98,000 locations worldwide, along with local and regional radars. "This weather integration allows us to provide a new level of engagement to our users with the ability to access their local weather instantly upon signing into their Paltalk account", said Jason Katz, CEO of Paltalk. "We are continually listening to our user base to determine what they'd like to see included in the Paltalk service and then, in turn, we seek out the best possible content providers to make it happen. Our partnership with The Weather Channel is a prime example of this philosophy." Paltalk provides a place for friends and family to join together to chat about the things they care about in real-time. In addition to Paltalk's recent unveiling of its URL-based video chat product, SuperIM URL, this partnership is furthering Paltalk's initiatives to personalize and tailor the video chat experience for its users. Unlike other video chat providers that allow just six person video conversations at a time, Paltalk's SuperIM powers free video chats with up to 10 people at once. Regardless of which network, browser or IM service a Paltalk user's colleagues, friends or family might use, they only need to remember that user's SuperIM URL to connect for a multimedia or multi-person video, audio or text chat, eliminating the need for additional software downloads. write your comments about the article :: © 2010 Computing News :: home page |
