Interxion to Expand Brussels Data Centre

Interxion has announced significant expansion plans for its data centre in Zaventem, Brussels. In response to growing demand for the company's infrastructure and services, the amount of equipped space will be expanded by 2,200 m², effectively doubling the facility's size. The first phase of the new space is scheduled to be operational in February 2009.

The new space will offer redundant power and N+1 cooling, as well as the most advanced alarm and monitoring systems. It will support both standard and high density power configurations, and has been designed using Interxion's energy efficient modular architecture, with free cooling and maximum-efficiency components as standard.
