Trend Micro advances its commitment to customer-focused service and solutions by launching one of the industry's most aggressive Service Level Agreements (SLA) for hosted email security.

The Service Level Agreement - which applies to InterScan Messaging Hosted Security Standard and Advanced customers of all sizes - provides money-back remedies subject to certain limitations, if the following service performance levels are not met:
- 100 percent service availability with downtime being measured in minutes, not hours;
- No more than .0004 percent false positives;
- 95 percent or better spam-blocking effectiveness;
- No more than two minutes of email delivery latency;
- Zero email-based virus infection;
- Support responsiveness within specified timeframes based on the severity of the incident.

With InterScan Messaging Hosted Security, emails are processed automatically and transparently without human intervention. No information is retained by Trend Micro that identifies the recipient or content of the email. With these types of controls in place, even businesses that may be subject to the strictest privacy regulations can feel assured that InterScan Messaging Hosted Security has been designed with those concerns in mind.
