Reevoo.com Research Confirms UK Shoppers Mad for Pink Products

Reevoo.com has conducted research to analyse the popularity of pink products across Reevoo.com and its partner websites, including Dixons and the Carphone Warehouse. The research shows that pink really is the new black when it comes to everyday gadgets and shoppers are frequently opting for the more colourful products as opposed to their duller counterparts.

Top three pink products:
1. Motorola ROKR U9;
2. JVC Everio GZ-MG330 camcorder;
3. Medion Celeron Processor pink laptop.

The Motorola ROKR U9 mobile phone tops the poll as the most popular pink product, whilst the JVC Everio GZ-MG330 comes second. As one in twenty camcorder web visits leading to this very model, it shows shoppers increasingly think pink when it comes to capturing that girls' nights out! Third most popular is the Medion Celeron Processor pink laptop, even beating the mighty MacBook Pro in the popularity stakes.

Pink fever is spreading much further than hi-tech gadgets. Reevoo's research showed that the pink Numatic Hetty vacuum cleaner was viewed more times than any Miele or Electrolux model. As the 16th most popular vacuum out of more than 375 models, it was a case of pretty in pink for Hetty!

Reevoo also researched the most popular category of pink product, by checking out which pink products got the biggest number of hits. The 'pinkest' categories included camcorders, keyboards and mobile phones, respectively.

"Following the success of the early launches of pink mobile phones, notably the hot pink Motorola Razr, it's no surprise to see the extent of how popular all manner of pink products have become", said Chris Winstanley, spokesman for Reevoo.com. "But before diving in and buying something just because it looks great, savvy shoppers read impartial reviews before they part with their cash."

To celebrate shoppers being potty about pink, Reevoo.com has created a page dedicated to pink products.
