Able Planet Introduces Affordable Noise Canceling Headphones

Able Planet has introduced an affordable version of their noise-canceling headphones. Delivering high sound quality with a clarity that is preferred by listeners and audio enthusiasts, Able Planet lets users lower the volume for safer listening but still enjoy a full, rich sound experience.

The new Clear Harmony NC200 foldable noise-canceling headphones have Able Planet's patented LINX AUDIO and state-of-the-art active noise cancellation (ANC) technologies built in. The device folds up for portability and an In-Line volume control for convenience. Clear Harmony's frequency response is 20-20, 000 Hz with sensitivity at 1KHz: 110dB and 116dB. The NC200 has a 3.5 mm plug and ships with a ¼ home audio adapter, a AAA battery and soft carrying pouch.

Originally developed for a new generation top-of-the-line hearing aids, the LINX AUDIO technology alters the audio signal to increase the intensity of higher frequency harmonics. This approach makes it easier for listeners to hear words, music and sounds as well as increases the perception of loudness without increasing the volume. Able Planet headphones provide a full rich sound at safer, lower volumes.

The New Clear Harmony NC200 will be available in September 2008.
