| SmarterStats 4.x Web Log Analytics Software Released SmarterTools announces the release of SmarterStats 4.x. SmarterStats provides Web site statistics, custom reports, data mining, geographic mapping, spider and bot detection, a Web interface with Silverlight dynamic charting, and more. Version 4.x easily differentiates spider and bot traffic generated by search engines and other automated sources from actual user visits — a feature unavailable in conventional script-based solutions such as Google Analytics.
