Canon Rolls Out New imageCLASS Multifunction Printers

Canon U.S.A. introduces the new monochrome imageCLASS MF4350d and imageCLASS MF4370dn laser multifunction printers. The new Canon imageCLASS models boast print and copy speeds of up to 23 pages-per-minute (ppm) for letter-sized output, and deliver first print and copy pages in approximately nine seconds. Both models come equipped with a 250-sheet front-loading paper cassette. The devices are also capable of copying up to 8.5 inches x 14 inches (legal) from the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) or letter-sized using the platen glass or ADF. For optimal speed when printing and scanning, the new imageCLASS models provide a USB 2.0 Hi-Speed interface. The imageCLASS MF4370dn multifunction printer comes with a built-in Ethernet port for network printing, PC faxing and scanning.

The Canon imageCLASS MF4350d and the imageCLASS MF4370dn multifunction printers provide duplex output capabilities for printing, copying and receiving faxes. With this duplexing capability, customers will be able to significantly reduce paper consumption by duplex printing documents from a PC, or on incoming faxes. Through the devices' 35-sheet ADF, each unit can also copy singled-side documents and output double-sided pages for a more streamlined office workflow.

The new imageCLASS models also capture scans in 24-bit color at an interpolated resolution of up to 9600 dots-per-inch (dpi) through the ADF or platen glass. The new devices use an up to 33.6 Kbps Super G3 fax for the rapid transmission of facsimile communications.

Each model incorporates the Canon Single Cartridge System, which combines the toner, drum and development unit in one easy-to-replace cartridge, resulting in high image quality retention and eliminating the complication and warehousing of separate toner and drum consumables.

The imageCLASS MF4350d and MF4370dn multifunction printers are scheduled to be available starting September 22nd.
