| Motorola Issues the 22nd LiMo Handset - the ROKR EM30 Motorola issues another LiMo handset, which immediately follows and complements the August 4 announcement of seven additional new LiMo handsets from Motorola, NEC and Panasonic Mobile Communications. The new Motorola ROKR EM30 becomes the 22nd handset model available using the LiMo Platform, the industry's first collaboratively developed, Linux-based OS for mobile devices. The ROKR EM30 — Motorola's eighth LiMo handset — is a GSM quad-band phone that supports global roaming and offers an exciting set of compelling music features. The ROKR EM30 is expected to launch first in Taiwan then in other markets throughout the quarter. Building upon the success of the ROKR E8, the EM30 is targeted for mass-market consumers worldwide and includes improved features including an LCD display, easier D-pad navigation and built-in GPS functionality to enable an array of location-based services.
