Comodo Launches TrustConnect

Comodo has announced the launch of TrustConnect, a new service that protects users from hackers who often use public networks to illegally procure sensitive and private information. With TrustConnect, users can create a virtual private network to quickly connect to the Internet through a Comodo secure server and encrypt network traffic before it leaves their computers. This service is highly flexible and gives users the ability to create secure wireless sessions wherever and whenever they want.

The use of public networks continues to grow as they offer more convenient access to the Internet. However, when users go onto public or "open" WiFi networks, they often are not secure and are vulnerable to hackers. Hackers can eavesdrop on a user’s session to illegally capture user names, passwords and other private data. Comodo TrustConnect provides an additional layer of security by encrypting all data that is being transported during the wireless session making conversations virtually impenetrable to hackers.

Comodo TrustConnect offers a number of key features and competitive differentiators including:
- All data transported during a TrustConnect session, whether on a public or unsecured session, will be encrypted.
- Users have the flexibility to create a one-time secure session anywhere and anytime they need it.
- Flexible plans give users the ability to purchase the service on a daily, weekly or monthly plan.
