Alienware Notebooks Now Feature CyberLink YouCam

CyberLink announces that CyberLink YouCam is shipped with all Alienware notebooks equipped with a webcam. The combination allows customers of Alienware's Area-51 m15x and Area-51 m9750 notebooks to experience not only extreme multimedia entertainment, but more fun and laughs while chatting via webcam, with all kinds of expressive effects.

By supporting the majority of instant messaging (IM) communication tools in the market, CyberLink YouCam creates a fun way to talk to friends online with lots of creative effects including frames, filters, distortions, and emotion effects. CyberLink YouCam also supports the easy creation of images and video clips by capturing photos and videos with a webcam. Captured photos and videos can be easily uploaded to YouTube or shared by e-mail directly from YouCam.

CyberLink YouCam offers the following features:
- 49 dynamic effects that can be applied during live video chatting, including frames, filters, distortions, and emotion effects;
- Compatibility with Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, Skype, and AOL Instant Messenger;
- Instant addition of effects while capturing videos and photos;
- Capturing of single shot or multi-shot sequences in JPEG format;
- Uploading of captured videos and photos to YouTube or direct e-mailing from within YouCam;
- Free effects available for download from CyberLink's website.

Alienware notebooks featuring CyberLink YouCam are already available in the US.
