Toumaz Technology COO Keith Errey to Present Sensium at GEF

Toumaz Technology announces that Toumaz COO and Co-Founder Keith Errey will present a workshop on the Sensium wireless body monitoring system at Global Electronics Forum in Osaka, Japan (27 February - 1st March 2008).

The workshop, entitled "Sensium: A New Semiconductor Solution to Revolutionise Healthcare", will be given on Friday 29th February at the Hyatt Regency, Osaka. Toumaz is also proud to be named as Workshop Sponsor for GEF, a new event co-located with ViB Events' 5th annual Global Semiconductor Forum.

GEF provides a high-level international forum to address the key trends in the global electronics industry, including multiple-market push, global competitiveness and the ever-shortening life cycle of electronic gadgets. The event has also been conceived as a vital platform and catalyst for innovative solutions, future collaborations and lucrative partnerships.

Toumaz's workshop will introduce its groundbreaking Sensium sensor interface and transceiver platform, which enables the non-intrusive acquisition of real-time continuous physical data for a wide range of health and lifestyle management applications, including remote healthcare, wellness and wireless monitoring at the bedside.

The session will explore the opportunities being created by Sensium for the introduction of revolutionary products – low cost, disposable, mass-producible ultra-low power wireless devices with built-in intelligence and tiny form factors – that enable the "digitisation" of healthcare and deliver new ways of understanding human physiology.
