PNY Introduces the Verto GeForce 9600 GT Graphics Card

PNY Technologies has announced immediate availability of the Verto GeForce 9600 GT 512MB graphics card. Based on the NVIDIA GeForce 9 Series of GPUs, this card is designed to support Microsoft Windows Vista Premium as well as Microsoft DirectX 9 and DirectX 10 for current and next-generation PC gaming. PNY's Verto GeForce 9600 GT features 512MB of GDDR3 frame buffer memory and a 650 MHz core clock; a memory bandwidth of 57.6 GB/s and texture fill rate of 20.8 Bil/sec. The PNY Verto GeForce 9600 GT is designed to run with the PCI Express bus architecture and support NVIDIA SLI technology for up to 2x the performance of a single graphics card.

Other features include:
- NVIDIA unified architecture with GigaThread technology;
- Full Microsoft DirectX 10 Shader Model 4.0 support;
- 16x full-screen anti-aliasing;
- True 128-bit floating point high dynamic-range (HDR) lighting;
- NVIDIA Quantum Effects physics processing technology;
- NVIDIA PureVideo HD technology;
- OpenGL 2.1 support;
- NVIDIA ForceWare Unified Driver Architecture (UDA);
- Two dual-link DVI outputs support 2560x1600 resolution displays (at 60Hz).
