| Softshare EDI Notepad 5.0, Build 116 Now Available Softshare announces the immediate availability of Softshare EDI Notepad 5.0, build 116. This new version includes the very latest ANSI X12 and EDIFACT dictionary versions: ANSI X12 5050 and EDIFACT D.07A and D.07B. EDI Notepad is Softshare's proprietary EDI editor. Available for download as a free utility from Softshare's Web site, EDI Notepad supports ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and TRADACOMS standards. Its desktop features several EDI viewing modes, including HTML, structured EDI, text, and hex. EDI Notepad also provides syntax validation, edit tools, document delivery capabilities, and automated functional acknowledgment generation. While designed foremost to be an EDI viewing, editing, and troubleshooting tool, EDI Notepad can also be used to build EDI documents from scratch.
